While there aren't any designated areas for big and small dogs or a fully fenced environment, the park is generally safe due to its isolation from road traffic. You'll find some dog toys are allowed, so feel free to bring a few along for added adventure! Keep in mind that although the park received a decent 4.3-star rating from fellow dog lovers, it's a good idea to watch your step as some dog waste can be left behind. A very nice park, great view of the waterfront. Access to water for dogs and it’s isolated from roads so safe for dogs that may wander. Limited shaded areas to sit in the dog park area. Also there is usually some dog poop left around so you have to be careful where you step.
