Located at 16/18 Keith Royal Dr, Marcoola QLD 4564, this official dog park is a lovely shady spot perfect for your furry friends to socialize and play. The park is generally quiet, making it a great choice for a relaxed outing with your dog. Many dog owners appreciate the park's sociable environment and even organize regular meet-ups, such as the Friday morning gathering for small breeds at 9:30 AM, followed by coffee breaks for their humans. While the park does offer a pleasant atmosphere, it’s important to exercise caution. Recent user reviews have highlighted safety concerns after an incident involving a hostile dog. There are ongoing efforts by the council to enhance park security, including the installation of self-closing gates. As a responsible dog owner, be sure to assess the situation before entering and check the grounds for any hazards. Bring a fresh supply of water for your dog, as it’s essential to ensure cleanliness when using the available water bowl. Enjoy your time at the park, but always be mindful of your surroundings and the behavior of other dogs and owners.

This park is shady, in a quiet area, and generally not busy. I organize a group for women and oodles and other small breeds on Friday mornings at 9.30 am. The dogs have an hours socialisation and play and then some of us head off for a coffee. The park is cool and shady, airport close bye. I have to comment about safety in the park. The council have a work order in to replace gates with self shutting gates. There has recently been a serious incident with safety concerning a hostile dog and very irresponsible owner. Always wait outside the park before entering until you are sure of the behaviour of dogs and owners in the park. Also please check the grounds for unusual stuff and empty and clean the water bowl properly to ensure there is nothing hostile in the bowl. I would take these precautions anywhere. As much as we love this park, some owners are irresponsible and care needs to be taken
