Flinders Park, located at LOT 104 Findon Rd, Flinders Park SA 5025, is an official dog park that offers a welcoming environment for both dogs and their owners. Many visitors have reported positive experiences, highlighting the friendly atmosphere and the presence of well-behaved dogs. It's a nice place to let your dog socialize and play, particularly during the day when the park is bustling with active pet owners. However, some reviews caution potential visitors to be wary, especially after 3 PM when an older gentleman with a dominant German Shorthaired Pointer has been known to assertively control the park. There have been past incidents involving aggressive dogs, which could impact the comfort of your visit. While overall, the park is cherished by regulars for its community feel, it may be wise to visit during quieter hours or be prepared for mixed interactions. Also, dogs tend to thrive on grass, so while the park seems enjoyable, ensuring that your pet has access to grassy areas is essential for their well-being.

Avoid this park or be wary when you enter. Most of the time it’s great, and the owners of the dogs are friendly and no worries. But after 3pm an older gentleman with a dominant GSP thinks he rules the park. Additionally, last year there were a number of dog attacks from a dog who was biting with intent. He has since stopped coming to the park but victims of his attacks, who are now hostile and aggressive, are still being brought to the park where they were attacked. We have since moved to Woodville Dog Park and cannot believe the difference. Also! Dogs need grass!
