This area is a long-time favourite of ours with its beach-like frontage, barbecues, toilets, kid's playground & several areas of shade, there isn't much that it doesn't skip. If you're a strong swimmer there is a decent depth in the middle of the river to challenge your endurance, but easily it can be just as enjoyable paddling in the shallows.
