Such a beautiful park. Paved trails and dirt paths, lots of trees, beach area on the river plus other ponds. There are moose, beavers & other wildlife so it does pay to be respectful & mindful of nature. But that is also part of the appeal of this park. Beware of thin ice on the river in the spring & algae in the ponds late summer. But the trails are well maintained and there’s even a pet memorial area that is very sweet.

Best off leash park by far. The woods and the river access…it’s perfect. You can walk the trail, or move over into the woods and not feel like you’re in the middle of the city.
