Always a refreshing spot on a hot day. Cool along the creek and thru the forest; nice sunny meadow for playing ball if it’s quiet and no one is around.
We head for the creek on a hot day, and wander through the shady trails and down to the meadow. There are a multitude of trails to follow in this huge forested park. There are a lot of bike trails too, so be sure to leash your dog when you see a bike. Most of the dogs are friendly and if off leash, owners respectfully leash up if other dogs are on leash or if people approach. But most of the fun for my dog is when she can splash in the creek and drink from the cool refreshing water.
