Located at 1050 St George Crescent, Nanaimo, BC, the park is officially designated as a dog park and features a spacious open grassy area ideal for playing ball and Frisbee. Enthusiastic users appreciate the minimal conflicts among dogs and the park's distance from busy streets, which offers a sense of safety and tranquility. Amenities include picnic tables, benches, a water station, and waste disposal options like poop bags and refuse cans. While the park does have its merits, dog owners should bear in mind that some users have criticized it as a small, unfenced area with proximity to traffic, describing it more as a spot for a quick leashed pee break than a true dog park. Overall, if you're looking for a place where your dog can enjoy some off-leash fun while you relax and watch the surroundings, this park could be a great option. Just be sure your dog has good recall and control, as is usual for any off-leash environment.

We come here to play ball and Frisbee. Open grassy area and very few issues. Unlike the other review, it is away from any busy streets and feel at ease with any local conflicts. Saying that, like any off leash park, you must have good recall and control if your dogs, as I have with Luna Picnic tables and benches to sit along with a water station, poop bags and refuse can with outhouse. Can watch some pickleball too
0/5 stars. This is not a dog park. It’s a small area of grass, not fenced. Next to a busy road. You can take your dog for a quick leashed pee break, at most.
