The dog park has a bit of everything... open meadows at the base of a forested hill with a paved walking path suitable for strollers, dirt trails through the forest, a seasonal creek and a runoff pond from the hill above... not the cleanest, but does the trick for cooling down on a hot day. There is an old house site above the meadows, with just the concrete terraces and steps remaining amongst mature birch trees... great for photos especially in the fall. This park is NOT fenced. It is between a subdivision and the bottom of a large forested hill. 2 entrances with parking. 1 outhouse No running water or dog fountain unfortunately, so bring your own.
