My dog and I really enjoyed this on-leash walk. Her nose was going a mile a minute as she was sniffing for all the different wildlife that shared our path. It’s so quiet - we could hear hundreds of ducks, chickadees, frogs and crickets. There was a blue heron, and the grasshoppers kept the dog fascinated as they hopped across our path. Bailey peered over the river bank at someone fishing for salmon. It was an easy, interesting walk, but it got hot, so be sure to have water for your dog.
