About This Park
Located at 1 Cook St, Victoria, BC, this official dog park is a popular destination for local dog owners seeking an open and friendly environment for their furry friends. The park features a spacious off-leash area that gives dogs plenty of room to run and play, making it an ideal spot for energetic pups to burn off some steam. Additionally, several access points to the ocean allow dogs to cool off and splash around during warmer days. While the park generally receives high praise for its welcoming atmosphere and social environment—especially on sunny days, when it tends to be quite busy—some users have noted potential safety concerns, such as gaps in the fencing that small dogs could slip through. Overall, it's a must-visit park for any dog owner in the downtown area, providing both community and convenience for social canine outings.

Would be perfect if the fences didn’t have large gaps where small dogs and walk right under.

My go-to dog park as a downtown local! Big open off-leash area allows Rolo to get his beans out and several accesses to the ocean for him to cool off and play in. Everyone I regularly see are very friendly. A beautiful walk, and very busy on nice days.
usually quite busy on a sunny day
