Located on Unnamed Rd in Kingston, ON, this official dog park offers a spacious environment for dogs and their owners to enjoy. Spanning a large field that is often used for Sheep Dog Trials, the park provides plenty of open space for your furry friend to run around, as well as access to nearby water. However, users have noted that while the area is mostly fenced, there are gaps on the wooded side, which could pose an escape risk for adventurous dogs. Despite the ample space, some users have commented on a lack of friendliness among park-goers and noted that the rocky terrain near the water area can restrict dog access. Additionally, the park may not be well-maintained during the winter months, so dog owners should be prepared to clean up after their pets. While there are some trees providing limited shade, it's best to visit during cooler parts of the day or as the weather warms up to fully enjoy the summer experience. Overall, it’s a great place for dogs to socialize and play, though a little patience and caution may be required.

Very big. Unfortunately the good water area restricts dogs. Very rocky in the area they can go. As well people don’t seem very “friendly” there in a way. I would bring my dog into the dog park to let her play with the 5 dogs or more and they would leave the gate to the water with them all. And then when I let mine go to the water they immediately called them and went back. Or leave very far. I have no idea their reason but I’m hoping it’s not because of the way my dog looks. And if they we’re concerned about kennel cough they just shouldn’t of brought their dogs to an area where it possibly could be. And it’s a dog park too so not much you can expect if a dog runs up in the area and wants to play
Very large field that's used for Sheep Dog Trials. Tons of open space that's next to water access. Great for both the humans and dogs to get there steps in. Not a lot of shade but there are some trees for the dogs to dart through on one side. Mostly fenced in however there are gaps particularly on the wooded side. Not well managed by the city in the winter so prepare to pack out poop. Looking forward to seeing what it's like in the summer.
