Wonderful park in a beautiful environment. There are both paths through the forest, and a field where dogs can stretch their legs, play, and even take a dip in the small pond. It’s an off-leash zone, but only if your dog has a good recall. This is important not just for the local wildlife but also because a bridle path crosses through the off-leash area. A walk around the park takes about 20 minutes, but if you explore the paths and spend time at the field, you can easily make it a one-and-a-half-hour outing. For me, this is a 5/5 park because the environment is stunning, and the paths are well maintained. I don’t think the bridle path is a reason to rate it any lower—my dog has good recall, and we can safely pass horses without any trouble. However, for others, this might be a bit of a hindrance.
