I'm local 👋 This pin is at the wharf carpark, but there's also Firebreak Rd carpark, Pine Ave carpark and Mill Bay carpark. The peninsula gets very crowded on summer weekends and public holidays. There are toilet facilities at each carpark and a cold shower at Firebreak Rd. At low tide you can walk the span of the beach between Cornwallis Wharf and Mill Bay. Dogs must be on-leash, except mornings between sunrise and 9am. Beware sharp shellfish on the slippery rocky areas and strong current near the middle of the wharf. Also take care exploring the rocky cliffside to the right of the wharf at low tide - people often get stuck out there as the tide comes back in. Please take rubbish and dog waste home with you
