If you're looking for a fun spot to take your furry friend, Parque Canino Coronel Augusto Soto Aybar in Arequipa is an official dog park that offers a fully fenced off-leash area where your dog can run and play freely. The park includes various obstacles to keep your dog engaged and a seating area for you to relax while supervising your pup. Plus, entry is free, and you're allowed to bring your own toys for an even more enjoyable experience. However, it's worth noting that the park lacks some amenities that might be crucial for certain dog owners, such as separate areas for big and small dogs, water fountains, or a double-gated entrance for added safety. While recent reviews highlight some issues like inconsistent hours of operation and a need for better maintenance, many dog owners appreciate the park's potential. It's advisable to plan your visit ahead of time, especially since there have been reports of it being closed unexpectedly. Overall, the parque seems to offer a decent outing but may need some improvements to enhance the experience for both dogs and their owners.

I went with Ma, although we are in the same jurisdiction of the district, it is a little far away. It was afternoon, there were no dogs inside, the material on the ramp was wearing out, it was raining at the end of March, and it could be improved. It gives the impression of being within a public access urbanization, that is, there are no parking services or surveillance of the dog area.
