Nestled in Louth, United Kingdom, this dog-friendly park is a fantastic spot for you and your furry friend to enjoy the outdoors! With free entry and ample free parking nearby, you can easily make a day of it. The park features a spacious open field and a dog-friendly trail, perfect for letting off some steam. You’ll find both shaded areas and seating spots, ideal for you to relax while your dog explores. Plus, you can bring along some dog toys for extra fun! However, a few things to note before you visit: the park does not have designated areas for big and small dogs, water fountains, or double-gated entrances, and while it seems quite popular, it can get busy with off-lead dogs. Some visitors mentioned navigating around a lot of excited pups can be a challenge if your dog is reactive. Overall, with a four-star rating from DogPack and plenty of wildlife to see, it’s still a vibrant place for a leisurely outing. Just keep a close eye on your dog and enjoy the company of fellow dog lovers!

Having grown up in Louth, I brought my dog back to visit. Hubbard’s Hills/Westgate are lovely open spaces with lots to explore but be warned, it’s very busy and absolutely packed with off lead dogs. We couldn’t move two steps without them running up to us. This may be great for some but for us and our friends it was tricky to navigate as some owners did not pay attention to their dogs at all and we got rushed a few times by reactive dogs.
