Also has a dog wash machine there.
If you park near AJ cycles there is a path that goes behind it and meets up with the Lakes and Meadows trail, which then meets up with Irthlingborough and Stanwick Lakes. I do this walk every weekday. There are quite a few dog friendly shops and restaurants at Rushden lakes also - you can search which ones on their website, or they have a sign on the front of all dog friendly stores. I personally like Lago Lounge, Bewitched, Butterwicks, Mooch and Pandora.
