The Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is incredible! We took our four dogs (three Shelties and a Mini American Shepherd) here on our RV trip through Jacksonville and I can't say enough good things about this place. The trails are all short and intertwined, but if you do all of them, it's a total of 3 miles. There's a paved path throughout the Arboretum, but the fun is on doing the trails that aren't paved because you'll feel like you're really in the woods, surrohnded by the beauty of native plants and trees and little wooden bridges. It's $3 a person admission, but they ask for a donation - and believe me, you will want to donate after being here! Note: Bring your own poop bags to clean up after your dog.
