Users have praised the park for its fantastic sunset views, good sight lines, and ample space to enjoy some fun outdoor activities with their pets. While the park does provide access to water and hoses, potential visitors should note that it lacks significant shade, so it's advisable to bring a jacket, especially since the area is often windy. Favorite sunset dog spot
This is a great place to go to throw a ball for your dog without interacting with other dogs. The large off leash area is well marked and large enough that you can find space to play. Sight lines are good enough that you can see dog-walker packs approaching in time to avoid them. There’s water and hoses but very little shade. It’s often windy so bring a jacket. Mud and foxtails in season, unfortunately.
