About This Park

Located at 8653 Mace Blvd, Davis, CA 95618, this official dog park offers a spacious and inviting environment for your canine companions. With a large, fenced area shaded by oak trees, your dogs can explore freely without the worry of nearby hazards, according to recent user reviews. The park is usually not overcrowded, allowing for a relaxed experience. Additionally, there's a walking trail for leashed walks through the adjacent sheep ranch, providing plenty of opportunity for engaging strolls and your dog’s curiosity to be fulfilled, particularly as they enjoy the views of the grazing sheep. While the park does come with some excellent amenities such as numerous metal dog bowls for convenience and a porta-potty for humans, it's worth noting that there is no running water available. Dog owners should also be cautious of the foxtails present in the area, which can be a concern for some pups. Nonetheless, the beautiful open views, especially during sunset, make this park a lovely spot for both dogs and their owners to enjoy a day out in nature.

Nice huge area. Dogs can just venture anywhere they want. My two dogs spilt up, went separate ways, but there was no worry about them being safe. Only downfall, is the foxtails. There are an abundance of them.

Huge fenced area with shade from oak trees, usually not crowded. Also a prairie walking trail for on-leash walks through the adjacent sheep ranch. There is a porta-potty for humans, but no running water. There are numerous metal dog bowls to hold bottled water brought by dog owners. Lovely open views, especially at sunset. My dogs enjoy seeing the sheep on the adjacent ranch.
