Located at 809 Stanford Dr, Santa Maria, CA, this dog-friendly park features a well-built walking trail that circles a scenic lake. Dog owners will appreciate the amenities available, including poop bag stations and trash cans, making it easier to keep the park clean. However, be cautious on the northern side of the lakeside trail, as some users have noted the presence of broken glass and litter. Additionally, the park offers access to an open field north of the main area, which can be utilized for off-leash exercise, providing ample space for your furry friend to run around. Just remember to bring your own poop bags for this area, as they are not provided. Overall, it's a great spot for a day outdoors with your dog, but take care to navigate some of the litter-prone areas.

Great layout, walking trail is well built, and circles the lake, poop bag stations and trash cans available. It's just unfortunate that the north side of the lakeside and trail is rife with broken glass and other refuse, so navigate that carefully. Open field north of the park can also be accessed from the trail, you can get all the way to the Santa Maria River levee. Open field can be used for off leash exercise, but there are no poop bags there, so bring your own.
