If you're a dog owner considering a visit to the official dog park located in Windsor, Colorado (F3QW+FM), be prepared for a bit of an adventure. While the park provides a designated area for your furry friend to roam and play, recent reviews have highlighted some concerns regarding access and safety. There's no traditional beach area for dogs to splash around in; instead, there are steps leading into the water surrounded by large rocks, which can pose a risk for both dogs and owners. Finding the park can also be tricky, as some visitors have mistakenly thought the nearby swim beach was the dog park. It’s recommended to park on the west side of the lake and hike up to the actual park area. While the park does offer a space for your dog to enjoy, keep these factors in mind to ensure a safe and enjoyable outing for both you and your pet.

There is no beach, it’s just steps that lead out into the water among all the giant rocks on the side of the lake. Easy for everyone to get hurt trying to play and get in the water. Also hard to find the park, went in thinking the swim beach for people was the park for dogs but it turns out you have to park next to the lake on the west side and hike up to the park.
