Located at 1099 NW Overton St in Portland, OR, this official dog park offers a great community atmosphere where dog owners can meet and connect with one another. While the park features a spacious field perfect for playing and socializing with other dogs, it has been noted that the city has not kept up with maintenance. Many enthusiasts have expressed frustration over the deteriorating state of the park, including damaged double fences and potholes that pet owners have taken upon themselves to fix. Despite these challenges, visitors appreciate the strong sense of community and camaraderie among dog owners. The grass area is well-liked for walks, and it's a popular stop for those in the Pearl District. However, take note that some amenities might be lacking, and there is a peculiar enforcement of regulations concerning items like dog bowls. Still, if you're in the area, this park can provide a lively and friendly environment for both you and your furry friend.

The fields is great for meeting your next best friend and terrible because the city does not care for the park at all. The double fences have been destroyed for over a year with no repairs despite everyone having called the city. There are giant potholes that we owners fix ourselves. When we bring dog bowls the malicious northwest dog association throws them away for being “out of compliance” and writes threatening messages about the homeless and drug use on the poop bag dispensers. But aside from that, it’s the people and the dogs that make us a community, and that community is strong. And the grass is a good place to walk with your dog too. Worth a stop by in the pearl for sure. I am here daily in the summer.
