Welcome to Conestee Park, your ideal destination for dog owners in Greenville! Located at 840 Mauldin Rd, this official dog park boasts a fully fenced area, perfect for letting your furry friend run off-leash. There’s a dedicated separation for big and small dogs, so you can feel confident that your pup will be safe while playing. The park features a water fountain, seating options, shaded areas, and a dog-friendly trail, all designed to keep both dogs and their human companions happy. Plus, with free entry and nearby parking, it’s a hassle-free spot to enjoy nature with your pet. While many users rave about the park's open spaces and friendly atmosphere, it’s important to be mindful of recent concerns regarding aggressive dogs. Some owners have reported incidents where unfriendly or poorly controlled dogs have caused altercations, leading to a few injuries. Therefore, we advise all guests to keep a close eye on their pets and ensure they are well-trained for social interactions. Despite these cautionary notes, the park remains a favorite among dog lovers for its amenities and stunning natural beauty. Just be alert and responsible while enjoying your time at Conestee Park!

I rated Conastee 5 stars because I really like the park very much. However, I am writing this review because of not only my love o our pet, KoKo, but so other owners can be aware of on on-going trend at the park. The park is advertised as dog friendly so why do owners continue to bring unfriendly, aggressive dogs to the park. In the past 2-3 months there have been quite a number if dog fights, one resulting of an owner being seriously bitten requiring transport to the ER by squad.. Yesterday May 31st, 2024, in a 30 minute period I witnessed 4 very aggressive dogs. Two attacked our girl when we entered the park even though the owner had just leashed them because of their behavior. Thankfully our girl was not hurt and the owner left with the dogs 2 more people arrived with aggressive dogs, the 2nd owners dog immediately attacked the next dog to arrive, biting it on the back & side. We left immediately and will not go back! So, owners beware!
Awesome nature trails, excellent high distraction environment for training. Consistently very busy. Only downside? Too many off leash dogs that are not under solid voice control. But, animal control is in the park regularly and keeps relatively good tabs on the issue! I’m at conestee multiple times a week with my training dogs.
