Located at 8800 Estero Blvd in Fort Myers Beach, FL, this official dog park is a fantastic spot for your furry friend to enjoy some fun in the sun. The park offers a secluded area where dogs can splash around in the calm waters, especially during low tide, making it an ideal spot for pups that aren't keen on swimming but enjoy getting their paws wet. Free parking is available, which is a plus for dog owners looking for a convenient outing. Many users highlight that it is a wonderful place for dogs to swim, but be mindful that it can get quite crowded, so visiting during less busy times is recommended. While the park has some excellent attributes, there are a few downsides to keep in mind. It lacks seating and poop bags, which means you'll need to bring your own supplies and be prepared for your visit. The entrance can be challenging to navigate at high tide, where waters can reach up to chest level. Nonetheless, many guests, including one happy dog owner, rave about the experience, stating that their dogs tire themselves out from all the play, making it a perfect beach day for energetic pups. Just remember to come prepared for a bit of adventure!

Very special place you can take your dog off leash it's different every time if your dog is small make sure you go at low tide
Love this place Pros: •Water :) •secluded •free parking •it’s not directly in the Gulf of Mexico so the water is clam and when it’s low tide you can go pretty far out (that’s for the dogs that don’t like swimming as much but just getting their paws wet) Cons: No seating, poop bags, (trash can all the way at the entrance If it’s high tide the water can get up to your chest just to reach the entrance. •so many people here all the time, come at a less crowded time because this place can get packed! These are less cons and more advice to be their at a good time and prepared Because it’s survival once your get to the beach. (Below is a photo of my dog at the dog beach and then him on the way back. He has a lot of energy but the beach always tires him out)
