Welcome to your new favorite dog park at 2000 SW 43rd St, Gainesville, FL! This official dog park is a fantastic spot for both big and small pups, boasting fully fenced areas, a water fountain for hydration, and plenty of shaded seating for you to relax while your furry friend plays. With designated off-leash zones and fun obstacles to navigate, it's an excellent place for your dog to burn off some energy. You’ll find that the park is easily accessible, with free parking nearby and wheelchair-friendly paths, making it convenient for everyone. Plus, the park is well-stocked with poop bags and even allows dog toys, ensuring a pleasant and clean environment for all. However, it’s worth noting from fellow dog owners’ experiences that some users have encountered a few challenges, particularly around respectful park etiquette with other owners. There are separate areas for large and small dogs, but be mindful that not all visitors adhere to those boundaries. While some dogs love the space to run and the park's agility obstacles, it may not be the best fit for dogs who are reactive. Overall, with its 4.5-star rating, this park offers a beautiful space for socialization and exercise—just be sure to supervise your pup closely and be respectful of the designated areas!

We were in the large dog area and multiple people walked right in, one with small purse dogs and we had to leave because she refused to go in the proper area. If your dog is reactive I would NOT recommend this park. There is small dog and large dog area and a 3rd back area I was told about but I did see. Everyone else was respectful and in the small dog area or back area. Not a good training park very busy. But does have some obstacles and alot of running room!
Very nice park. 3 separate fenced-in areas for dogs. One side has obstacles, and the other is a large open space. Only downside is rude dog owners that think they own the whole park. They will not hesitate to open every gate and let their dogs run wild and uncontrolled.
Free to the public, very nice dog park. The multiple trees are very enchanting. Shaded and full sun both available. Picnic tables. A water fountain for owners and one for dogs. A professional dog washing station (bring your own towels and shampoo). Clean restrooms on site.
