I love these little trails. They are all gravel/ river rock. Note it is dirt so if it rains it's gunna be muddy. There are some dogs off leash but I walk mine on leash. It's really pretty when the river is full. This is not a gated area and keep an eye out for wildlife. These run right along the river you can see ducks, deer, beaver, and occasionally a moose so keep an eye on your doggo. But it's great that I don't have to drive into another town for a nice scenic walk. Note for out of travelers don't let your dog swim in the river the undercurrent is to strong even if it looks calm!!
