Welcome to the official dog park in Clarksville, TN! This park is a fantastic place for your furry friends to play off-leash in a fully fenced environment. With separate areas for big and small dogs, your pup can romp around safely and socialize with dogs of similar size. The park features a variety of amenities, including a water fountain, obstacles for agility training, plenty of shade, seating areas, and a double-gated entrance for added safety. While parking is free and entrance is open to all, be sure to bring your own poop bags, as these are provided but cleanliness can be an issue. While many dog owners enjoy the spacious open field and wildlife, some reviews highlight concerns about cleanliness and supervision. A few users reported that the large dog area has been closed, resulting in reduced space for larger breeds. Additionally, there's mention of aggressive dogs in smaller areas, so keep an eye on your pup and stay aware of their surroundings. Overall, this park has garnered mixed reviews, with a current rating of 3 stars from four DogPack reviewers, but it remains an inviting spot for a fun day out with your four-legged companion. Fun fact: The park is situated within a larger community park that provides ample opportunities for human visitors as well, showcasing beautiful trails for walking and enjoying nature. This park can serve as an excellent starting point to explore the beautiful outdoors of Clarksville! Just remember to come prepared with bug spray and sunscreen, as you’ll want to enjoy your time there to the fullest.

It's free, that's why 2 stars, but it's filthy. Every time we go there we are the only ones cleaning up after our pup. Large dog side has been closed for over a month, which leaves the large dogs a very small portion of a 3d fenced in area with no shade/agility/climbing areas. Be sure to wear shoes you do not care about.
There’s no one there to regulate the big dogs going in the little dogs area, so when I took my little puppy ,Skip, before he was one years old ,into the little dog area, a big dog attacked me almost knocked me over trying to get up my little dog. I reported to Clarksville Parks and Rec and they said nothing could be done about it because it wasn’t the dog park that was regulated by membership. Even more pathetic part was that I had had a recent hip surgery and could’ve had a lot of damage done to my hip by that big dog attacking us. Thank God he didn’t knock me over. Skip was shaking so I got him out of there. We have never gone back since. It’s definitely a park for dogs that are larger and sometimes more aggressive.
Big parking lot, 3 separate areas, a long dog run, small dog and large dog. Both the small and large dog parks go back into the woods so there is a little trail and lots of shade. Lots of grass, double gated entrance, poop & garbage stations, a couple benches, a central water fountain and tall sturdy cyclone fences. There is a covered pavilion right outside the fenced dog park and the dog area is part of a much larger people park. Bring bug spray and sunscreen.
