This park is one of my favorites because of how big it is. I love letting my dog go and play while I get a couple of laps in
Great trail and hidden corner in the rear right from front entrance with the porta potty. Looks like a tiny pine forest corner with a smaller hidden dirt trail between the trees. The corner is perfect for private space and includes benches. Working water fountains and people usually leave gallons and bowls to use, bags have always been there the times I’d go but obviously come prepared! Not sketchy, no lights for nighttime, and beside Mcgavock HS and so some police presence occasionally.
