The gated water area is locked due to unsafe levels (July 21, 2023). Nice and spacious areas. The southern part with the wooded trails (by the cemetery) has a lot of mosquitos late into this time of year compared to other parks. Daily permit pass is $7 (for this specific park, if you go to other parks in the Three Rivers District dog parks you have to pay separately for those parks). Annual is $55. There is an envelope pay at the front gate for the daily pass. You can also purchase passes online.
Plenty of trails to walk there's a pond area that's fenced off and large and small dog sides. They also have gazebo shelter newly built. Water is available in the summer.
My pups and I love this dog park! Plenty of space to wander around and explore. There is a separate wetland area that you can use. Lots of wooded trails, open area to play catch and socialize. Membership fee: $55 annually. Gives access to this park and 6 others in the 3 rivers park district!
