If you're looking for a dog park in North Wales, PA, check out the official dog park located at 1228 Welsh Rd. This fully fenced park offers a separated area for big and small dogs, encouraging playful interactions in a safe environment. Your pup can enjoy the off-leash area, complete with obstacles and seating areas for you to relax while they play. The park provides amenities like poop bags and allows dog toys, making it convenient for a fun outing. Plus, there's free nearby parking and no entry fee! However, keep in mind that not all features are available; there's no swimming area, dog-friendly trails, or camping spots, so plan accordingly. It's worth noting that the park has received mixed reviews—some users found it challenging to locate and expressed concerns about untrained dogs in the area. So, be cautious and vigilant while visiting, especially when it comes to other dogs. Take note of the reviewer who had a troubling experience with certain owners, and consider your dog's temperament before heading over. Overall, the park has its merits, but do your due diligence to ensure a positive experience for both you and your fur baby!

Wow, was this place hard to find! It is off the parking lot for a boarded-up house on the eastern edge of the shopping center parking lot. I found it on my 3rd attempt! My poor rating is from the bad experience we had there on our one visit. A guy with 2 dogs was not controlling his dogs at all and was smirking as they attacked my dog upon entry. I don't mean the usual over-assertive greeting that some dogs give a new arrival. They went after her. She did all the things she does to yield to another dog, but they kept going after her. We got her out of there immediately. So, if you see a guy there with a Dalmatian and some sort of Akita-mix, don't expect him to control his dogs when they decide to hunt in a pack. If I ever visit this park again, I will update my review. But, for now, this 40-second experience is the basis of my review! (I wish we could review dog owners, not just dog parks!)
