Great dog park! One of the best around in the Lehigh Valley. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a large, open space for their fur babies to socialize. There's even a separate side for small and large dogs. Most of the owners pay attention to their dogs, unlike other parks around that I've noticed. The receptacles are emptied at least once a week and the grass is usually maintained quite often. I would highly recommend checking out the rule sign at the entrance, as they take them pretty seriously to ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone. I've been taking my dog Jasper here very often for almost 2 years, and I've had little to no problems. Everyone is very nice and I feel welcomed every time I return. It's also good to keep note that the park is typically closed from early-ish February to late-ish April to re-seed. There is also a private Facebook group (Friends of Allen Township Dog Park) for more updates. As long as your dog is friendly and up to date on their vaccinations, definitely check this place out!
