Nestled in Pinehurst, GA, the Dog Park at 71, 19 offers a welcoming spot for dog owners looking to let their furry friends stretch their legs. This official dog park features a fully fenced, off-leash area where your canine companion can romp around freely. With nearby free parking, it's a convenient pit stop for travelers or locals alike. While the park doesn’t currently provide specific areas for big and small dogs or additional amenities like water fountains or obstacles, it still offers ample space for play. However, some users have raised concerns about the security of the gates, so it's advisable to keep a close eye on your pup as they explore. Despite its few shortcomings, the Dog Park has garnered a respectable 4-star rating based on two user reviews. One visitor found it to be a great stop on a road trip, while another dog owner highlighted issues with cleanliness and gate security. If you're planning to visit, it's a good idea to bring along your own poop bags, as prior users noted that the park could use some extra tidiness. Overall, this park provides a basic but enjoyable environment for dogs and their owners to come together and have some fun. Interestingly, this park resides in an area known for its rich Southern history, including a legacy tied to the railroad and agriculture. The surrounding Pinehurst community is steeped in tradition and hospitality, offering a charming backdrop for dog owners to enjoy their time outdoors.

It is a truck stop dog “park” (run). It has a lot of dog poop, the gate does not close/latch. I would be cautious letting your dog off leash. Your dog can potty and stretch it’s legs- but we didn't stay long.

Convenient location and great space. Perfect stop on our road trip. The park is not separated by size but there is plenty of space and equipment for playing. The only concern is the gates are not very secure and our little one could easily slip through so we had to watch him very closely.
