Our solar array is sized to produce all the energy our kennel uses on an annual basis. The array is on net-metering, meaning that when the sun is shining and the panels are producing electricity, the electricity back-feeds into the grid--any excess energy produced is "banked " for future use . When the sun is not shining, we draw our "banked" power from the grid.
