Welcome to Oklahoma Vet Rehab! The field of rehabilitation is relatively new in veterinary medicine. While the recommendations of crate rest and pain meds are perfectly appropriate in some short-term situations, we are increasingly recognizing that there is so much more that we can do to manage pain better, get pets back to their normal daily activities faster, and boost the body’s own healing mechanisms. Dr Amy uses a hands-on wholistic approach, including acupuncture, photobiomodulation (laser), soft tissue techniques, and a few other modalities to help your pet regain it's independence and comfort!
