Whilst there is nothing actually wrong with this park, before visiting, I think it is important for people to know that it isn't an official dog park at all. There are no fenced or gated areas to allow your dogs to safely run around off-lead. Having said that, this space is often very quiet and you could easily bring your dog on a long lead to explore. Freddy enjoyed climbing up onto the large old brick wells. There is a drinking fountain, seating & plenty of shade for those warm summer nights.
