Located in Esquimalt, BC, the park is a dog-friendly area that offers a space for your furry friend to enjoy some outdoor time. However, dog owners should be cautious of certain natural hazards, such as goose and deer droppings, which might attract curious pups. Additionally, the park does have significant patches of thistle, so be mindful as they can get caught in your dog's paws. While the park is situated on a military base, making it technically not an "officially off-leash" area, many dog owners still take advantage of the space. Be sure to keep an eye on your dog, as there may not be designated amenities for pet play. Overall, it's a pleasant spot for a stroll and a bit of exploration, but be prepared for some potential challenges on the ground!

Watch out for goose / deer poop if your dog is into that kind of stuff. Also big patches of thistle which gets into paws. This is on the military base so technically probably isn’t officially “off leash”.
