Daily Photo Challenge

The Photo Challenge is a daily themed game on DogPack where DogPack users can upload a photo of their dog within the theme of that day’s challenge.

Users have 24 hours once the challenge begins to upload a photo to the challenge.

Once a challenge entry period has ended, there is a 24 hours voting period, where users can vote on photos that were submitted to the challenge.

Votes are tracked and the photo with the most votes at the end of the 24 hour voting period is the winner!

A leaderboard is available in the Photo Challenge section to keep track of daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time vote leaders!

You can submit an entry to the Daily Photo Challenge once the challenge begins. Each challenge is open for 24 hours, and you must submit your photo within that time window.

To enter the Daily Photo Challenge, follow these steps:

First, tap the Photo Challenge button at the top of the Feed.

Next, go to the Challenges tab, find Today’s Challenge, and tap Enter. Then tap Join the challenge.

Choose the photo you’d like to submit from your camera roll. If DogPack doesn’t already have access to your photos, you’ll be prompted to enable camera roll access in your device’s settings.

You can make edits to your photo if you’d like. When you’re ready, tap Submit Photo to complete your entry.

As long as the submission window is still open, you can return and edit your photo at any time. Once the 24-hour submission period ends, submissions and edits are no longer possible.

You can vote in the Daily Photo Challenge once the submission period ends and voting begins. During the 24-hour voting phase, entries are shown in head-to-head matchups, and you vote by choosing the photo you like more.

To submit votes, follow these steps:

Tap the Photo Challenge button at the top of the Feed.

Open the Challenges tab and select Vote under the “Vote on Yesterday’s Challenge” section.

Once voting is live, you’ll see two photos on your screen. Swipe or tap to choose the photo you prefer.

Each vote helps move that photo forward on the leaderboard. You can continue voting as long as matchups are available.

You can track voting progress in the Leaderboard tab within the Photo Challenge section, under the Current tab.

All votes are final once submitted and cannot be changed.

The leaderboard ranks photos in the Daily Photo Challenge based on how they perform during the voting phase. As users vote in head-to-head matchups, photos that receive more votes move higher on the leaderboard.

The leaderboard updates in real time as votes are submitted. You can access it by opening the Photo Challenge section and selecting the Leaderboard tab.

The Leaderboard includes four views:

·       Current – shows rankings for the active challenge

·       Last 7 Days – shows top-performing entries from the past week

·       Last 30 Days – shows top-performing entries from the past month

·       All Time – shows the highest-performing entries overall

Only votes cast during the official voting window count toward the Current leaderboard. Once voting ends, rankings for that challenge are finalized.

You can view previous challenges and winners by going to the Challenges tab, where past challenges are displayed separately from the leaderboard.
