Posting & Feed Navigation

To see posts from users nearby, go to the Main Feed tab. In the top-left corner of the feed, click on "DogPack". A dropdown menu will appear where you can choose the type of posts you'd like to view.

Select "Nearby" to filter the feed and view posts from users in your area. This makes it easy to connect with your local dog community!

Additionally, you can go to your profile, click the menu icon in the top-right corner, and scroll down to "Search the Feed by Location". This will show posts from users closest to you, and you can search any specific area to filter the Feed by a different location.

You can post directly on a dog park feed in two ways.

First, you can go directly to the park page, tap the green plus (+) icon in the bottom-right corner, and select Add a post to the park feed. This will take you through the posting flow, and your post will be published directly to that park’s feed.

Alternatively, you can create a regular feed post and tag the park you want to post to. Once the park is tagged, your post will automatically appear in that park’s feed as well.

When you add a post to a park feed, users who follow that park will receive a notification about the new post.

To tag a dog profile in your post, the dog must be part of your Network, meaning you must be following their profile.

After selecting the photo you want to upload, you can tag a dog in two ways. You can type @ in the caption field and choose the dog from the list that appears, or you can tap the Tag Dogs button and search for the dog by name or username.

Once selected, the dog’s name will appear in a green box, confirming the tag was added successfully. You can repeat these steps to tag multiple dogs in the same post. When you’re ready, tap Post to publish your content to the feed.

The Video Feed is a section on DogPack where users can watch short dog videos from the global DogPack community. It’s designed to highlight the best videos, moments, personalities, and stories shared by dog owners around the world.

Videos shown in the feed are selected based on relevance and engagement, such as recent activity, popularity, location, and user interests. This ensures that every time a user opens the Video Feed, they see fresh, entertaining, and meaningful content.

To access the Video Feed, simply click on “Video Feed” at the top of the Feed Section

To report a post as inappropriate, click on the 3 dots icon in the top right corner of the post. Then click “Report Content as inappropriate”.

Content that is reported as inappropriate is reviewed by our team and removed from the Feed if deemed to be against DogPack Terms and Conditions.
